Morning: Leave Colombo early (around 6 AM). Stop at Bentota for a Madu River boat safari and visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Continue to Galle and explore Galle Fort, the Lighthouse, and Dutch Reformed Church. Afternoon: Have lunch at a seaside restaurant in Galle (Peddlar’s Inn CafΓ© or The Tuna & The Crab). Visit Jungle Beach in Unawatuna for a relaxing swim/snorkeling. Explore Rumassala Mountain for scenic views. Evening: Check into a hotel in Unawatuna or Mirissa. Enjoy a beachside dinner and relax.

Colombo β†’ Bentota β†’ Galle β†’ Unawatuna

Morning: Whale watching tour in Mirissa (starts around 6 AM, takes 4–5 hours). Breakfast after the tour and explore Secret Beach for a peaceful morning. Afternoon: Drive to Tangalle and visit Hiriketiya Beach (a hidden surfing paradise). Visit Mulkirigala Rock Temple, an ancient Buddhist site with beautiful paintings. Lunch at a local restaurant in Tangalle. Evening: Drive to Hambantota and check into a hotel. Visit Dry Zone Botanical Garden for an evening walk. Dinner at the hotel or a local seafood restaurant.

Mirissa β†’ Tangalle β†’ Hambantota

Morning: Yala National Park Safari (starts around 5:30 AM, lasts 3–4 hours). Spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Afternoon: Have lunch in Tissamaharama. Visit Tissamaharama Temple for a quick cultural stop. Evening: Drive back to Colombo (takes around 4.5–5 hours). Stop for dinner on the way, if needed.
